The beautiful tag isn't what she wants to bear
She is enough is all she wants to hear
She doesn't ask for the pain to go away
She just wants someone to tell her it will be okay
Someone who can see beyond her
And someone who can understand her better
Someone to comfort her is all she seeks
To help her through those sleepless weeks
Someone to appreciate her soul and her purity
To love her for her inner beauty
Someone to discover how selfless she is
To make her feel loved and understand this
She is perfect in her own way
Is all she wants someone to say
No matter her imperfections and her scars
She is still one in a million stars

Author's Note
This piece touches my heart, we all want people to understand us, and look beyond our scars. We need someone to reassure us and say that everything will be fine, no matter what happens. This was also deeply inspired by the song "Scars To Your Beautiful" by Alessia Cara.
