A Tribute to the Fearless
A Tribute to the Fearless.
She lives in our hearts, she was fearless,
We all know whom I address.
She fought for her life but didn’t survive,
She was too young to die and too naive.
Never did she deserve to die,
She died tragically but why?
For a moment stop and think,
Why between a woman and respect there is no link?
Why can’t women be given respect,
Oh wait! But I interject.
Not only respect but justice is needed,
Justice to avenge when the law is not heeded.
Our hearts are set on fire,
And the consequences will be dire.
It’s not the flame of desolation,
But of anger it is the flammation.
We don’t demand death, NO!
We demand change in dirty minds and shallow.
We demand change in this nation,
And if no steps taken to change will lead to aggravation.
If these problems earlier had been addressed,
Nirbhaya would not have been suppressed.
If these problems earlier were addressed,
The Hyderabad doctor would not have been flamed from toe to head,
But to change it’s never too late,
And there is little still time to change our fate.
We all know whom I address.
She fought for her life but didn’t survive,
She was too young to die and too naive.
Never did she deserve to die,
She died tragically but why?
For a moment stop and think,
Why between a woman and respect there is no link?
Why can’t women be given respect,
Oh wait! But I interject.
Not only respect but justice is needed,
Justice to avenge when the law is not heeded.
Our hearts are set on fire,
And the consequences will be dire.
It’s not the flame of desolation,
But of anger it is the flammation.
We don’t demand death, NO!
We demand change in dirty minds and shallow.
We demand change in this nation,

I LOVE YOUR WRITING! You are able to give a large and important message in the form of a poem which also rhymes! This reminds me of William Wordsworth, another great poet like yourself.
